Birkenhead Choral Society

Welcome to the Homepage of Birkenhead Choral Society

We are a long established group of singers who enjoy performing a wide variety of choral music,
in both religious and secular settings. Singers over 16 are welcome.
Members come not only from Birkenhead, but also from the wider surrounds of Wirral, Merseyside and Cheshire.

There are three main concerts a year, together with a Christmas Carol Concert and other occasional activities.

Rehearsals: Monday evenings (Sept - June) 7.45pm
St Saviour's Parish Centre, Bidston Road, Oxton
Sympathetic Audition.

Annual membership fee - currently £60 (concessions £50)

The choir also performs concerts in conjunction with the Formby Choral Society and pupils of the
Merchant Taylors' School, Crosby. We have strong links with the Royal Northern College of Music, and many concerts are accompanied by the Liverpool Philharmonia Orchestra, led by Arfona Griffiths.
